Here are the phone numbers: Continental 1/800 575-3335 then hit 9- if you prefer their QUICK PAK service you can forgo the cost of a health certificate and vet check ( now $50 for one animal and charged per animal by my vet) and temperature requirements as they keep them in air conditioned rooms/planes the entire trip, have shorter check in and check out times etc with no layover Northwest is 1/800 692-2746 then #4- still have temp requirements and health cert requirements (they don't even look at them) Delta only ships dogs and cats as air freight- you can however ship them as excess baggage for $75 per kennel per leg of the trip- I shipped 23 rabbits to Nationals on Delta for $150 one way! They say 6 rabbits for 'run' or carrier- so thats about 12 rabbits per kennel- don't let them tell you the kennel itself is a 'run'!

Cottonwood's Return Policy: We guarantee all animals to be healthy and free from communicable diseases upon arrival to you. We will refund the full purchase price on any animal purchased from us IF the following take place: 1) a valid reason 2) safe return of the animal to our possession, which must then be accompanied with a health certificiate to receive your refund. This does not include shipping charges. If you are unhappy with the quality of the animal the animal must be shipped back to us with in the 10 day period of the Health Certificate and buyer pays all shipping charges. THE BALANCE CAN BE PAID AT THE SHOW, IN CASH, OR SENT VIA WESTERN UNION OR MONEY ORDER PRIOR TO SHIPPING. WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING PAYMENT BY PAYPAL.

Here is a grading scale we use when we assess our rabbits. We make a first culling at 6 weeks to decide who will be appropriate for the pet market. Then again at 10 weeks and finally another at approximately 4 months of age- Hopefully this scale will help you, the buyer, understand our system and how and why we apply a certain price to a rabbit.
Understand that a rabbit that is lower on the pricing scale WILL NOT usually place as high in a class as the highest priced rabbit on the scale if I have graded them correctly. The rabbits for $100 are consistently winning high placements for their owners and rabbits priced at $150 and up often win BOV or BOB and in most cases grand out. The rabbits at the mid range of 7 or 8 will usually place about midway in their class. A Judge's markings are only an opinion and a rabbits placement can change with every show going from 1st to last in the same day. Also, rabbits usually placer higher when they hit 7 or 8 months of age. Know that the rabbits we sell, are the top 50% of their litters . If we make a mistake and sell a rabbit that does not consistently place as expected, per the pricing scale, then we can trade the rabbit for another (EASILY IF YOU LIVE CLOSE- ITS HARDER IF YOU SHIPPED- THEN YOU MUST PAY THE SHIPPING TO RETURN THE RABBIT) . Usually I let the owner keep the first rabbit and just give them the replacement if I feel they are justified in their unhappiness. Just contact me, or send me pictures, show me remark cards etc. I have no problem standing behind my rabbits.

6 - 7 - average grade- sold for pets or beginner rabbits $25 and up
8 -above average with show and breeding potential--sell for $50-75-- WILL NOW BE $75-100
9 - Open/Youth ARBA show quality rabbits out of our top winning lines $100-150 to be shown by us, sold, or put into production--WILL NOW BE $100-200
9.5 -Will be put on show row to be shown by us and possibly sold or put into production. Prices are generally $150 to $200, depending on quality and pedigree-- WILL NOW BE $200 AND UP AND THESE INCLUDE ANY YOUNG RABBITS SIRED BY HARLI OR BLUE WAVE, OUR ARBA BOV BLACK DOE AND BLUE BUCK --I GET A LOT OF REQUESTS FOR THESE AND THE BABIES ARE VERY VERY NICE!!! ****************************************************************************************** BARGAINS: There are times I get excellent typed animals with very few markings or they weigh 5 lbs, but I keep them because they have many excellent qualities and a large doe bred to a small buck can make the perfect baby!. Ask me about these does as I can sell them for less, they make great brood does, and are bred for free- A gorgeous broken red Neftron daughter that is linebred is going to Oregon for $75- she is a big girl but will make a great mom. These are great deals to enhance your breeding program.

I will be glad to ship rabbits- usual costs are approximately $45 for vet check and health cert, a 4 hole cage is $35, and gas costs about $25 for running to the airport, vets office and cage supply company. I will need the above fees prepaid plus a non-refundable deposit(SEE DEPOSIT POLICY) before I will begin the process of arranging the vet check and booking the flight. I will then book the flight and send you the information via e mail.I LIKE TO MAKE ONE PHONE CALL PRIOR TO SHIPPING TO MAKE SURE WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE AS TO TIME OF SHIPPING ETC., Continental requires prepayment whereas Northwest allows C.O.D

Prior to shipping I need the balance paid in full (WESTERN UNION OR FED EX ARE THE BEST, NO LONGER ACCEPTING PAYPAL PAYMENTS!) before shipping arrangements can be made. I can call and reserve space for your rabbits 24 hours before shipping.

The health certification is your guarantee the rabbits are healthy. If a rabbit should die(never happened yet) or become ill within 48 hours of arrival(happened once) I will access the situation and make refunds or replace the rabbits - however I do need proof the rabbit is deceased. A VETS CERTIFICATION ON LETTERHEAD IS A GOOD WAY TO GO.

Rabbits cannot be shipped easily in the winter or summer because of airline regulations- BEST to ship prior to June or again in the Fall. REFUNDS---- I WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY IF A RABBIT IS LEGITIMATELY DISQUALIFED FROM A SHOW BY AN ARBA JUDGE. IF YOU ARE JUST UNHAPPY WITH THE RABBIT I WILL REPLACE IT- BUT YOU, THE BUYER, MUST PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO ME.
